In the youtube clip "Cat and Crow Friends," the clip discusses an unlikely friendship. These two innate enemies should hate each other and yet they found a friendship. Cassie, as the cat is now called, was tossed over a fence, simply thrown away. She was a hairless rat-looking creature, unrecognizable as a cat. A wild crow mothered the cat, bringing it food, literally placing the food in the kitten's mouth. They now romp around the neighborhood: wrestling, hunting, playing, and journeying. They are the best of friends...a bird and a cat.
What was amazing about this story is that it makes me realize that even when I might think someone is a certain way, I should try to help their situation, give them the benefit of the doubt, and like the cat and crow, maybe I will find an unlikely friend.

"A pair of Sumatran tiger cubs and a set of young orang-utans, all abandoned at birth, have become inseparable after sharing a room at an Indonesian zoo." says BBC News. After sharing a habitat in the zoo the baby tigers and oragangataans live iin harmony. Because they grew up together they tolerate and maybe even have formed a friendship bond.

Love can change everything with animal adoption. Adopted animals from abused or mistreated homes can change the animals life. If you love an animal enough to adopt them, they will love you back and you will have, in effect, saved their lives. There are many stories on this topic, many of which are produced by organizations such as The Dumb Friends League or PETA. Adopting an animal is a good thing to do for yourself and to save animals from mistreatment.

On the website http://letsbefriends.blogspot.com/ shows hundreds of different examples of unusual animal friendships. One of the pictures shows a dog and a fawn are lying next to each other on a couch affectionately. The caption on the picture explains that the family found the deer under their steps and the dog took full priority over taking care of the fawn.

"A good relationship is not a game that we play or an ego trip we take. It is about love and two people. Loving someone can give us the greatest joy we can ever know but it can also hurt us more that we can ever believe. If we love someone we should be ready to experience not only happiness but heartache as well. That's the reward and risk that it takes. Unless we are willing to experience it, we will never really know what it's like to love and be loved."
This article, "Love", by Michael Jibunor, states a point that love is something that a person is willing to experience, and ready to be loved back. It is not a game that can be cheated or faked, but an experience that two people can enjoy willingly.

A loving tiger mother and a big group of pigs have adopted each other as a family. As the gigantic tiger raises her "cubs" (pigs) the pigs learned the ways of growing up like a king of the jungle. This is a good thing because it makes peace between animals and allows the animals to know not just their own bread but more than just themselves.

I came across a photo of a puppy and kitten cuddling together in a basket. To me this represents an unlikely friendship between two different species. Obviously these two animals have a unique relationship with each other even though they are completely different from each other. It doesn't matter who or what you are love is always unexpected.

In the Article,"Mother Tiger Nurses Baby Piglets", a mother tiger lost her cubs and needed something to to make her less depressed. In 2006 at the Zoo in California a mother tiger gave birth to 5 baby tigers, but the baby tigers died a few days later because they were premature. The mother's health went down and became very depressed and sad. So the veterinarians said that to make her less depressed they would use piglets and put tiger skins around them so she could feel like a mother. After a few weeks the piglets and the mother became like a loving family and she took care of them as if they were her own.

In the article I read it talked about a young couple that was coming home from a date. There was a strange silence during the night and on the way home the boy decided to stop and talk about it. The girl started to talk and say that things were not working out and they would have to break up. The boy was very sad and passed they girl a note, suddenly an out of control truck ran into the car and killed the boy. When the girl opened the note it say, "without your love, I would die." If the girl in the story didn't want to stop and talk nothing would would have happened and both would still be alive, they may still be in love because of the note, but since they had to stop the boy is dead and the love failed.

I found a story about a woman named Catherine Lawe, whose husband was the Warden of Sing Sing prison in 1921. She was ordered never to go behind the prison walls, but she did any way, to attend the jails first basketball game. Fearless Catherine watched with the game with the inmates, and her three daughters. There she found out that one of the inmates was blind, and wished to read. Later that year she taught him Braille. For sixteen years she helped disabled inmates, and regular inmates learn new skills, and learn more about God. One day, neither her, nor her husband showed up at the prison, because Catherine had died in a car wreck. Word spread through the prison, and the next day, all of the inmates gathered at the prison door. The acting warden let them out, so they could pay their respects to Catherine. Later that night each man returned to the prison.
To me this is a story saying that no one, no matter how bad they have screwed up is not a lost hope. People can be changed, through gentleness. Real true love changes the mind from one opinion to another.

In the article The Baby Kangaroo That Could, a baby kangaroo is taken care of by a dog named Rex. Rex found the poor baby kangaroo inside her dead mothers pouch, and carried it home gently grabbing it on the neck. Through the years that have bonded more and more and now they are the best of friends.
This article shows how animals and hopefully people can put aside their differences and take care of one another. Even though we all look different we all need a little help in a while and we can change our perspective on things even if we our looked at strangely. Love is a powerful thing that can change people's personality very easily.

In the article "Sad Love Story" a man sacrifices his life so that he can hurt his love as little as possible. He discovers he has cancer and he will get sick and be in so much pain and die a slow and horrible death and he knew that would really hurt his love and his family, so he breaks it off with his girlfriend and takes his own life so they don't have to see him suffer.
This shows how strong love can be if you will kill yourself to make your other feel just a little better. That is the biggest sacrifice you can make for love.

I discovered that a tiger adopted piglets. The story was weird because you would think that the tiger would eat the piglets but it adopted them and mothers them.

In the article I read about it talked about how people need love and how it creates you and forms you. She, the author Jodie Barrett, says; "
You cannot embrace love whilst holding on to fear...it's impossible! Letting go and living with your heart, embraces the future. EMBRACE!!!!". When she says to embrace the future it clicked in my brain when back in the middle ages they didn't get to choose who they married. Nor who they love, and that it self could create hatred. That there is changing something, and how it was the what usually happened in the middle ages.

I saw a picture of a snake and a hamster snuggling.I learned from this that enemies can become friends. It takes a special type of person or animal to break the pattern. The pattern is easy to break but takes courage to do so. This is what I learned from the picture of the snake snuggling with the hamster.

In the story, "A Brother's Love" by Richard & Brenda Brisebois shows how true love can change everything. The story is about a little boy is about to be a big brother and at the hospital something goes wrong. Suddenly the little girl needs to be rushed to St. Mary's hospital. The parents were told that it is not looking good at all and they starting seting up funeral arangments. The boy didnn't get to see his little sister yet and asked if he could sing to her. The parents let him go into the ICU and sing to her. As he was singing her heart rate starting becoming normal and she got to go home the next day. Love can be so powerful as to make someone live.

Love changed everything between two unlikely friends of a dog and a cat that are eating out of a bowl at the same time. They appear to be the best of friends and truly enjoy each others company. Love made them friends.

Against the Odds
A pastor covered one of his wall with a beautiful Ivory Crochet tablecloth with a cross in the middle. While he was walking to the church a women was walking on the side of the road and a snow storm was going on so he invited her to come into the church. As he hung the tablecloth this women turned white as a sheet and asked if the initials EBG were on the table cloth. When he looked and replied yes she told him thirty five years ago her and her husband were split by the Nazis and she had fled but was captured, put in jail, and never saw her husband again. That was one of their table cloths that she had made. He asked her if she wanted it back and she told him to keep it. That day an older man in the back stayed after the service was over. The pastor walked over to him and the older man told him him and his wife were split in Australia by the Nazis thirty five years ago before the war. He was arrested and put in a concentration camp and never saw his wife again. That day he brought this older man to the older woman he had brought home and he saw the best Christmas Eve reunion he's ever seen.
The amazing part of this story is against the odds this couple was brought together 35 years later on Christmas Eve. Neither had moved on and still loved each other. They still loved each other after 35 years! It's amazing.

In the Denver Post's article titled "Changing hate to love", a Jewish Holocaust survivor tells his story about his expiriences and how he feels only love and acceptance. This man, Martin Small, was a young man when he was thrust into a concentration camp. He was starved while his entire family was murdered. He survived, and eventually moved to the United States. In 2003 he moved to Colorado. There, he spoke about his trails during the Holocaust to his community. Then, both he and the Catholic church in his area started to preach about hate and love. Martin is well respected and loved by his community, by both Catholics and Jews.
This story is inspiring because of Martin's belief in love. He was saved during the Holocaust, and therefore was determined to do the same after he was liberated. It is also amazing to see two completely different churches come together to preach love.
