I see a dull world covered in gray and filled with emptiness. I would wonder how i came to be at that place and at that time. Since my emotions don't exist I wouldn't know what to say or how i feel. I wouldn't meet anybody new or interesting, since i was basically in a world of me. Nothing would be the same anymore, nor will it ever be. I imagine my job to just be a daily routine, like school. No complaining just getting up and going. How would we speak to each other? Would it just be a simple wave, or would we talk, almost like talking to yourself. I'm empty inside now, no feelings, the numbness in my body longs on as i would drag my feet to an from work. Could this be a world that you'd imagine yourself in? Not that I could ever dream of.

I think that the individual is not more important than the group because, just as the imagery proved, the world would be dull and unimportant if the individual is more important than the group. I also think that the group should be supportive of the individual because that does support the thought of the individual is important. I also believe that you should believe in yourself, and make sure that you are always who you want to be.

I think the individual is way more important than the group because the way you view life should be unique and not how the group forces you to view or live it.

The individual is more important then the group is a strong statement and i feel like my opinion on it can really change on this depending on the situation. Sometimes it has to do with a great amount of selfishness or selflessness.

i think it depends because the group if they where like robbers than the individual would be more important than the group but if it was like a group of hungry people and where poor and the single person was rich than it would be the group more important.

When people say, "The individual is more important then the group." I do not always agree with them. I think that it really depends on the situation. In some cases, the group is going against the individual, and that individual needs to stand for what they believe. But in other cases, and individual might be going against the group, and the group needs to stand strong for what they believe. But in the end, I think everyone is the same. They all have the same importance.

The individual is not more important than the group. Because a group have more majority than an individual. A group is stronger than an individual, In my country there's a saying: "You can break 1 chopstick, but you can't break a bundle of chopsticks." For example, an army of 100 soldiers is stronger than an army of 1 soldier. When you're in a group, people in the group can help you get out of a problem.

I believe that it depends on the situation if the individual is more important then the group. If you gave to stand up for what you believe in, even if you are standing alone then the individual is more important then the group. You shouldn't conform and be like others, you should be your own individual. In a situation where the group is more important, i would say an example would be a match or game. Working as a team is going to more important then the individual trying to win it for everyone.

The individual is more important in certain cases, while a group is more supportive to situations that require teamwork. An individual can speak their own ideas and views, without opposing voices that need to agree on the same situation. If one only focuses on their own views in a group, it selfish not to hear others, yet the individual needs their own identity and beliefs. Other times there are events that require more than one person. A group could be able to work together to accomplish more in less time.

The individual is more important to the group in the ways of hard times. A person in a group can have comfort and maybe even someone else who is having hard times. While the individual has no shoulder to cry on, and they are all alone.

The group is more important because there is not just one individual in a community a state a country or the world we are all a big group a group called man kind that is the center of our existance.

I think the individual is more important than the group when the nature of the group is defined by the collective free will of the individual.

In our system of government where the balance of power is defined and scripted within a rule of law, a constitutional formulary if you will, the individual is sacrosanct for the power each person's rights have, backed by the power of our common acceptance and tolerance for one another.

We are nothing without the group, but the group is nothing without the free will of the tolerant mind.

I guess that you're a bit wrong saying that the individual is more important than the group. We can do nothing without group work. Only cooperating together, we can achieve the certain results! Keep it up,

You kind of missed my point, or I was a bit to obtuse, not sure which. You can't have the group dynamic without the common will of the individuals. Point being as I said "defining the rights and nature of the individual, who comes to the group as a function of first principles that the group believes in" is the only way the group can effectively make change for the better.

Its a synergistic point, the person the group the reflection of the emergent conditions and behavior which reflects back to the person....yet the central component is ultimately the free thinking individual working with others of a like mind...I suppose at some level is the chicken or the egg...I think you have have the egg first...so to speak...have a nice day...
