Reflection about Arapahoe High School

Yes, you are finally a high schooler! I want you to reflect upon your classes, school expectations, school excellence, teachers, old friends, new friends, the dance, activities, and/or athletics. What has been unexpected, what is the same, what was refreshing, etc.? Talk candidly, but as always use proper grammar, punctuation, and word choices. Be thoughtful and courteous. Thanks!

High school has been great so far. All my classes have been fun and a big change. All my teachers are really cool and nice. I love all my friends and they are such studs. All the other activities are sweet too. High school so far has been so awesome though and I think I am really going to love it.

High school is very different from middle school. It is great to have off periods and open campus. That is something everyone likes. I also like that Arapahoe offers so many activites and sports. I plan on doing baseball. I have made a few new friends but all my friends now are great too. I like high school now and I'm sure it'll be great.

Hey Mrs. Davis, its Bailey from Period 6.

For me, High School is a much different experience than Middle School; but in a good way. I enjoy having teachers that are more hands ons and want to see their students improve. Because my new teachers have these higher expectations, I too have to raise mine to meet theirs. My personal goals for this year are to pass every class with flying colors.

One thing about AHS that I would like to change is that I haven't been able to see my old friends. I do occasionally see them in the halls and such, but I do miss seeing them all the time. The good thing about mixing so many students is that we can make new friends and learn more about ourselves.

This year, I plan on joining the art club and trying out for soccer. I hope by doing so, my high school experience will be richer.

High School so far has been really great! I lovea ll the advantages that we have no that we didn have in middle school like off hours, open campus, and also more opportunites to meet new friends. I love that the teachers are harder and they expect us to give them more of our effort in each class so that we can succed better in high school. I also love that Arapahoe offers students more opportunities to join different clubs, sports, and activities to help them get involved in high school. I am sure that high school is going to be the toughest and best years of my life and am looking forward to the challenges and excitement.

High School for me has been terrific so far! I already have a lot more homework than I ever had in Middle School and that is one thing I don’t like. Other than that all the changes in High School, like off hours and open campus I have loved! I have meet quite a few new friends already and seen a lot of people I know but haven’t talked to in a couples years. So that’s really cool!

In my opinion high school has been great so far!I decieded to join cross country, and it has been a ton more fun than I thought it was going to be, there are way more people there that I know, than in most of my classes. Also I thought there were going to be many competive mean people at Arapahoe, but everyone seems to be outgoing , and freindly. Last, I didn't know that I had off periods until I checked my schedule, what, a pleasent surprise!

This year at arapahoe, I plan to try my best, and to make good impresions on the people here at Arapahoe.

High School is awesome! It's so much more laid back that middle school, I like how you can have your phone out in the halls and how you can wear hats and I love the off hours and the open campus! i don't have any teacher i dont like their all really nice, but they give alot of homework i don't like that.

So far i love high school! Its nice to be treated like an adult, finally. I love the freedoms and the positive additudes reflecting off the students. Most of all i love how most of the immature drama is over, and everybody gets along. So far so good, hopefully it stays that way.

I really have enjoyed high school so far. I'm not saying I hated middle school, but it was that middle stage that I knew I would have to get over. I feel more free in high school. Given I have more homework, it all evens out because I am able to have unschueled hours and have off campus time. I think I will really enjoy my high school years here at Arapahoe. The only bad thing so far about high school is the fact that I have a locker in the pit.

I remember being a kid and thinking how awesome it would be to be a high schooler, and I hope to make that same positive impression. It's my time to change and I am ready to start preparing for the all important college.

But, I glad I get to have high school year started and there is no turning back. I.AM.READY.

High school has been the coolest thing so far. My teachers are all great, my classes have been fit just right for me, and I've made new friends. Yje best thing has been off hours. It makes me feel more responsible and gives me a lot of time to do my homework or just hang out.

High school so far is the best thing that has ever happened to me. My classes are awesome, and my friends and teachers support me through everything. But my family plays a major part in my high school life. If not for my parents, I wouldn't be here at Arapahoe. I'm still navigating my way around the school, but with time, I'll know the halls of Arapahoe like the back of my hand.

High School so far has been great. It is way more different then middle school. For one I have double the homework then on middle school. I spend at least two and half hours of homework each night. Secondly I barely ever get to see my old friends anymore whether it's because we have no classes and lunch together or the went to another high school. Lastly I have to walk far to get to each of my classes. But I always make it on time. Even all my teacher this year are so cool and very nice. I hope the rest of the year will be as awesome as the fisrt weeks were.

High school has been great so far, especially the freedom you get with open campus. You always need to be in class but it is cool being able to go buy something across the street. This makes you be responsible and trustworthy.

High school for me has been my latest chapter in life. I so far have liked it way more than middle school. With the new school of course our new teachers, and their expectations. Im glad that I’m being able the chance to meet their expectations for me.
With the open campus, new students, and extra activities I feel Im finding myself to me more me. Being able to have freedom and so many opportunities to show our talents Arapahoe High School is enabling us to become our selves. It’s showing us the talents we didn’t think or know we’ve had. I can’t wait to benefit from the next four years here. Im also glad to call me self a Warrior.

High school has been AMAZING for me so far! I love all my classes, love singing in choir, and love going for Publicity Officer at Arapahoe. It has been allot of fun and hard work! It's incredible having off periods and being able to go off campus. It gives you time to do your homework at school and gives you a break. I can't wait until Homecoming week and getting more involved at Arapahoe. All the teachers are great, and so are the kids. It's definitely a huge change from going from a private school with uniforms, to freedom. I can finally wear and do what I want! It's a nice change to have all the responsibility now as a high schooler. The one thing that stinks is going to the bottom of the food chain again. Now I'm just the tiny little freshman, not the mighty 8th grader! It's amazing being an Arapahoe Warrior and I can't wait for the rest of the year.

I have really liked being in high school so far. The classes are good, I like all of my teachers, but they are a little harder than middle school I will admit. That is why I am going to stay on top of things, staying organized and always doing my homework. I'm happy that I have a few classes with my friends from middle school, but I'm also glad that I get to make new friends. Its also cool seeing old friends from elementary school, or my friends from youth group. I'm really excited for upcoming events like homecoming week and football games and things like that. I'm also really excited to play sports myself for school, because I've never played for school, only in other clubs. The hallways are SO crowded, and I wasn't expecting them to be that crowded! I have to carry a lot of my things because I can't get to my locker in time. Having an off-campus lunch is awesome. It's nice to get out of the school environment just for a little bit, and to get a little break. Its also fabulous to have the option to have some good food and not have to eat the gross cafeteria lunch, or have to bring your own. I would definitely say that high school is 10 times better than middle school!

I love highschool! It is so much more relaxed. I like off hours alot and open campus is amazing. Not to say theres anything rong with the cafiteria food, but being able to go to chipotle for lunch is the best. I don't have any complaints about teachers but Mrs. Davis is definatly the best. I dont like football as much because everyone got really big and im still small. It's cool to be in highschool but i don't like being a freshmen, i guess you have to start someware. I AHS is a great school and i'm glad to be a Warrior.

High school is very different from middle school. Everything is more challenging now and they expect more from you. You have more freedom, but with freedom comes responsibility. In high school you are more connected with your school if you are in sports or clubs. It is good to be involved with your school, it gives you a chance to meet people and do things you haven’t done before.
